Now we wait...

Hello all,

Well just an update....we had the egg ret. last Monday (5/25), retrieved 7 good eggs....ALL seven fertilized. Thursday (5/28) they transfered 3 embryos, the other 4 were still growing and will hopefully reach blastocyst stage. We haven't gotten that call yet to see how many were able to be frozen. BUT, we are now in that 2 week waiting period. My bloodwork is scheduled for June 10th. Very excited and feel very blessed to have come this far!!! God has been so good to us!

Congratulations!! That is such an exciting time. Everything for us is going great! I'm about 9 weeks pregnant. We had our first OB appt. Tuesday, another ultrasound and both are strong!!! They measured their heartbeats and one was 175 and the other was 180. Strong, healthy hearts!!!

If you don't mind me asking how far are the clinics you were matched with in reference to where you live?

Clinic distance...

Sher Institute has 2 offices and they said we can go to either office!

We have a cousin that live in NY and we are going to see if we can stay with him. If not we are going to find a cheap hotel!
They said to expect to stay in NY for 10-12 days.


Manhattan is 2 1/2 hrs from my house.
Long Island is 3 hrs from my house.

Don't mind at all. Our clinic was about an hour away....maybe a little less. We were blessed!!

Hey Ada!!

Just thought I'd come on here and update you. I'm 14.5 weeks pregnant!! Praise God. We heard the heartbeats 2 weeks ago....still haven't been able to find out what the littles are yet but should be able to at our next ultrasound which is Sept. 21. Woo hoo!! I'm having a ball!! Good luck on your cycle in what Sept.? And its in NY? That will be fun!!

I am so happy for you.
I start injections tomorrow and I am a little scared. I don't like needles lol. Like I got a choice now....
Yeah I should be in Manhattan NY at Sher Institute on Sept 8th.

Hey Tina..... how are things going? have you found out what the little ones are yet?

We are all patiently waiting for our results we are suppose to be getting an email by tomorrow although I do not expect to know by tomorrow I am expecting that it will take them a llittle while to notify the receipients but my hopes are a little higher now since I received the email that our application went to the selection committee.

I haven't spoken to Tina for a few months but I saw a posting somewhere a few weeks ago that she is doing fine and the babies are fine.
