June 2009 applicants

Hi my name is Leslie and I am an applicant for the June scholarship. I was wondering how many of us were on here and if we wanted to start our own thread to keep in touch so we know where we all are in the process. To keep us all informed on when we receive confirmation emails or calls so it can ease our nerves a little.

I am sorry it took so long, I have had computer issues. I applied for the scholarship for the June deadline and the waiting is killing me. I wonder how long it will be before we hear anything. Did you receive a confirmation e-mail?

no I have not......that is why I figured that if we all posted on this one we could keep in touch and know where everyone else was at and also know when that first clal happened. I know of 3 other people who have applied. That is why I was hoping everyone would post on here. If you find any one else let them know about this thread.

Doesn't everybody that applies for the scholarship have to post to at least one forum?
I was thinking maybe that would be a way to get a general idea of how many people applied this time. Just a thought, I'm just getting anxious.

Yes they do but there are so many there is no telling where they have actually posted. I have tried to look through the member list as well, but I do not have access to that yet, DO YOU?

Hey ya'll. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to this forum, but i didn't know you (Leslie) had started it. So did anyone figure out the number of applicants yet? I hope we hear something soon. Does anyone know from talking to any of the past recipients how long it took for them to hear something after the deadline date occurred?

So many questions, I know. Well, I hope everyone is doing good and I look forward to hearing from you.
