  • Just checking in...7dpFET

    Hi all,

I haven't been on the boards since Monday when my parents arrived. They are going to my sister's house today and will be there until next Friday when they come back for a few more days. I certainly haven't been taking it easy with them here but not sure there is any point anyway...I am feeling *very* negative about this cycle.

Anyway, I had my estrogen and progesterone levels tested today at 7 days past the FET. My E2 was 1139 and my prog was 43. Does anyone know if that sounds okay? I did the bloodtest at my doctor's office and then faxed the results into the IVF clinic at the hospital but I haven't heard from them so I don't know if the levels are on target or not. Still taking E2 three times a day and six vaginal suppositories of progesterone a day. (I hate those things!)

    Hope everyone is doing well!

      sounds good....

      Hi -

It sounds good. I'm sorry that you are feeling so negative about this cycle. But I really hope for the best for you. Hugs!

I know progesterone levels because I had problems with those before. It has to be above 25 to make the clinic happy. Not sure at all about the E2, but that sound decent.

Sorry the drugs are not fun...I know that's rough when you don't feel like you are going to get good results. But you never know...keep your chin up and try to enjoy some extra pampering!

Bleah. I'm just feeling bleah. Somehow my husband is way more optimistic than me but I just know in my bones that this cycle is a bust. Anyway, I couldn't help myself and I took an HPT today. I didn't even do it right when I woke up so the urine wasn't as concentrated as it should be and I am only 8dpt but just seeing the negative made me feel even worse. Why did I do that to myself??

        Patti, any update with you?

Oh, and Jen, thanks for the kind words.

          Levana - I'm sorry....you're feeling that way.

I wish I could do something to make it better...and I hear you about those HPT, they are evil!!!!!

I'll do a quick update on the waiting board....

My bloodtest in the IVF clinic is on Thursday which will be 14 days after the transfer. I tested again this morning (at 9dpt) even though the HPT was negative yesterday because I had a very very vivid dream about getting a positive HPT. But of course is was a BFN. Anyway, I am planning on going to my regular doctor tomorrow to get a referral for a bloodtest because I don't want to waste any more money on the HPTs and I cannot wait until Thursday for testing in the clinic. I know that 10dpt can be too early for an HPT but is it also too early for a bloodtest? (I assume the bloodtest can pick up traces of HCG that the HPT can miss.)

Hang in there, I know it's hard What I have heard is that you can get negatives all the way up until 14 days after transfer. The test on the 14th day is the deciding factor.
