Hi!

It went well. They transferred 2 blasts. One was starting to hatch and the other was pretty good, but not perfect. The hatching blast is definitely the front runner though.

Unfortunately none of the embryos made it to freeze. There were 4 other embryos they were going to watch 1 more day and freeze but they called to say that they started to breakdown over night. Disappointed for sure, it's staggering to think that out of 20 fertilized eggs only 2 front runners emerged.

The roller coaster of highs and lows continues.

Now we just wait until next Sunday for the test. Our RE feels really good about it, so I guess we do too!

Definitely a roller coaster....I'm so sorry. Things can change so quickly. But I am thankful that you transferred 2 with one looking terrific. Yay! Stick little guys, stick!!!!!!!!

Is your wife on bedrest or just resting? I've got 3 days coming to me. It drives me crazy!!!! LOL.

She stuck to the couch and/or bed until yesterday where she started getting a little more active. She's got a little cabin fever. I shudder to think what she'll try to do while I'm at work today. Probably try to rearrange furniture...

Sorry, just reread your question. She was not ordered to take bed rest. Just asked to take it easy for the weekend.

Loooong week so far. This one has been killer. Good looking blasts were transferred but not having anything for FET and this being our last IVF (with Attain anyway) has us both both about ready to jump out of our skin. Tomorrow will be 7 days post 5 day transfer so we know if it happened it's happened. She has no symptoms yet, neither good nor bad. The past two IVFs she actually started her cycle BEFORE the 1st beta so we'll see what happens this coming weekend.
