Has anyone gone through a frozen embryo transfer? We have two frozen day 6 blastocysts that we are set to have transferred on the 11th of this month. I am so nervous that they won't survive the thaw and of course that it won't work if they do survive.

    Yes, I have....

I actually have gone through quite a few FET cycles. They are much easier than the IVF/retrieval cycle. Do you have specific questions?

    Good luck!!!

I don't know if I have specific questions. I guess right now my biggest fear is that my two embryos won't survive the thaw. Any experience or knowledge about that would be useful.

          Hope this helps... (preg mentioned)

So we were told that the thaw survival rate has lots to do with how good the embryos were when they were frozen. At least at our clinic, they have really focused on keeping A or B embryos in the past 2 years. My most recent experience off of that has been that the embryos have lived after the thaw...even if they did not implant.

Before that, they would have kept them all and hoped for the best. I did have one cycle that the thaw worked, but none of the embryos were really thriving. But that was off of an original cycle 5 years ago.

But I have only gotten pregnant off of FET....never off of a fresh cycle.

It is very nerve wracking - but good luck!!! Thinking of great sticky vibes for you. When are you doing the transfer?
