Aspirin Ups Survival in Some Colon Cancers

Patients with colorectal cancer who harbor a mutation in the PIK3CA gene may derive a survival benefit from regular use of aspirin, a study has found. Note that, in contrast, no survival benefit was seen for aspirin use in patients without the mutated gene.
