Boy do I know what you mean, I dread hearing about other people having babies. Every single person in my family has a baby except for me. Blah! Of course I am happy for them but it is hard to show happiness when you are still in the trenches and aren't in a place where you can feel truly happy.

I'm glad to hear that you applied for the scholarship! Sometimes it does take longer than other times to hear back depending on what the schedule is of the review board so just hang in there! Wishing you lots of good luck that you hear good news soon

Today is a bad day. Feel sick. The pain in my back has returned and I am just feeling rather down about it all!

I got a call for an interview this afternoon! So excited! We will see.

All the pain meds cause me to be sleepy... not really great while I am driving. I am so bad with diet right now. But I will get back on it and do good I am sure. I just feel like I need comfort food right now!
Are you doing another IVF?????

I wish they could just do the laparoscopy for you! Your doctor said it wouldn't help at all? I just don't understand.

Ooh that is so cool that they called you for an interview! When is your appointment? What position is it?

So I don't think I mentioned this before, but a couple of weeks ago my mom said that she wanted to give us enough funds from her retirement severance (she just retired from teaching) for a Micro-IVF cycle. I am thinking we will probably do that in May, but she hasn't gotten the check yet or anything so it's still in the works to see if we will be able to do it.

that is awesome that your Mom is willing to do that!!!

The doctor said he thinks we will be right back where we are in a few months if he did it.

the job is for a cna at the hospital, I go on tuesday for my interview. I hope I get it!

I am so tired from all the running around and I am so far behind in my school work, I really need to catch up this week!

Do know when you will do the ivf?

The problem with doing a lap is everytime they go in they cause more scar tissue so they try to limit it.

May is not that far away! So excited for you!

Geez, what a catch 22, you have the lap to get rid of the pain and you get scar tissue as a result. How are your classes going?

Hi Im new here...I was dx with pcos 3 1/2 years ago...We have been trying for 4 years....Im on 1500mg met daily and waiting for AF to show or Aug 23 to get here to have another ultrasound to see what we need to do now...I have tried clomid for 7 months...gonal f and clomid with trigger shot and one cycle of follistim and the last cycle was a gonal f cycle which was canceled due to ohss....

Hi Stephanie!

I take 2000 mg daily. It's interesting because my doctor discovered my insulin resistance years before the PCOS. I always wondered my I had elevated blood glucose at such a young age, and now I know why! Is the upcoming ultrasound due to the ohss from your canceled cycle? It seems like it's really easy to hyperstimulate, I swear I've had a touch of it every medicated cycle I have done. Not full-blown per se, but definitely more pain than probably one should experience. If your ultrasound looks good, what do you think will be next?

The ultrasound is the second one to check both ovaries to make sure everything went back down..

And you wrote in another post that you are mentally ready for IVF, right? Has your doctor mentioned anything about IVF being your next step?

If this next time doesnt work with Gonal F..Then he would suggest going to ivf...His office isnt capable to do the IVf procedures so he would have to reffer us to someone else...

I see, so then you would do gonal-f with an IUI for this next time? Let's hope your ultrasound on the 23rd goes good so that you can get started!

HI, everyone! These posts seem old so I am not sure how often people check...I joined this site to keep hope alive that someday I will have my own little one. I hve always wanted to be a mother for as long as I can remember. I am a teacher and work with kids on a daily basis. Seeing pregnant colleagues is not easy though.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2009. All of my parts in in good condition, but I do have dermoid cysts on both ovaries. I have been through at pregnancy. Clomid, Femara, femara plus injectibles, injectibles alone, nothing works! I am frustrated and tired. I have thought of adoption, but the process is intimidating. I just want to be whole again...not broken

I neglected to mention that I take metformin 3X a day. I have clear and open tubes, I am 32 years old, and I have a great fiance and three awesome dogs! Here's to hoping...
