I would have your testosterone levels checked. They might be running high. I lose a lot of hair daily but I haven't notices thining yet.

      me too

i kept thinking it might be my thyroid, but my levels are okay on my synthyroid dosage. I have really bad days and then some light days in between. I have been having the hair loss issues for about 2 years. I use a shampoo called Nioxin and it helps with the loss. I am getting my hair cut tomorrow and will probably put layers in it and keep the length.
I feel your plain- mine is mostly on the top, pretty thick in the back still.

        cold caster oil compress

A friend of mine was going bald and she started wearing a cold caster oil compress to bed. Within 3 weeks she started having thicker hair. So you might want to try it.

I think this is the worst PCOS has thrown at me yet ( and that is not easy to say, given all the probs ). I have been reading about Rogaine. I think I may try it. You have to use it quite a while before you will see results, so I am hesitant because it is kinda costly. My hairdresser told me that she has seen that it works well with women, but not so much men.

Now that you mention thyroid, I may have that checked. My aunt has had problems with her levels, and she has been on Synthroid for awhile now. I'm pretty sure it has to do with testosterone levels, as I have horrible hair growth where I do not need it.

Where do you buy this shampoo ? Let me know...
