I STILL have not read the article (but did read Gupta's blog)... and this is exactly my belief on autism too... I have Aspergerian characteristics (scored super high on a test), and my father is definitely Aspergers... ds is just greatly exaggerated and just becoming functional... we are working hard on keeping his environment and food "clean" and we gradually see improvement... the setbacks are just the hardest to cope with and right now we have gone backwards a few steps...
