I bought the game "Operation" thinking it would help with oldest DD's fine motor skills, not even thinking about the buzzing sound it makes if you hit the side of the game. My younger DD grabbed the tweezers and tried to pick out the bone and "buzzzzzzz". Older dd flipped out! She screamed, covered her ears and was running around crying like a madman! Oops. I guess we won't be playing that game anymore.

Don't feel bad, we did the exact same thing with the exact same reaction!! I tol dh to go ahead and remove the batteries, but Madylin runs screaming if she sees the thing now

It'll be a long time, I'm sure, until that game'll be played here!!!

We take out the batteries too

Recently we put the batteries back in to try it out. Savanna would buzz the dang thing the whole time and Sierra freaked out. She never plays that game anymore. We don't have the freakout factor right now but it's not one of their favorites!

I took the girls on a ride at the beach this week that they wanted to go on that was way to intense and warped Sierra from roller coasters probably forever. I had that bad mom feeling too.
