Photos of Ella - update - not great!??

Hi,
me again, more photos.
She went into a bad place for a few days. I hope she is coming out of it. The doctor upped her dose a bit. Maybe that will help!

Anyway, I just love her little face in these photos.

I can't get over how grown up she is now!
She has come so far.

I am sitting her balling my eyes out over how grown up she is now. I am listening to the new Weezer album and any slow song makes it worse! And, our dog is lost. Our dalmatian mae went camping with my elderly parents in eastern oregon and she ran away. There was a lot of thunder and lightening and she must have gotten scared. They have been looking for her since Saturday which was the day they were supposed to come home. They are so upset. I am beside myself. I am driving the 325 miles on Wed morning to walk the mountains around there to call her to see if I can find her. She was a rescue and she is pretty attached to me -- and comes to me when she is really freaked out. She has never done anything like this before though. She was really abused by these horrible people when she was a puppy and it has carried over into her adult life. She is about 7 or 8 years old and still has anxiety issues from it.

So sorry about you dog! I hope you find her soon. Call the local SPCA and let them know she is missing. They can call you if they find a dalmation. (((Hugs)))

Awww, I hope you get your sweet Mae back! I am so attached to my animals, and I know what you are feeling. Your poor parents must feel terribly guilty, too. My heart goes out to all of you!

Terrific idea! I have heard so many stories of Craigslist working this way. If you have one for your area, of course. And maybe put up signs at the town that people use as a supply stop when they're camping up there?

I hope Ella is coming out of it and that you find your poor dog! What a time you are having. I am so sorry, I can only imagine how worried you are.

Thanks for asking if there is any news.

We went to eastern oregon to find our dog but no luck...

Someone saw her and called us and we went to where he saw her and she was gone. we spent a few days searching that area and we did not find her. we must have hiked 20 miles each day. the poor dog is still out there. The good news is that it is a very small town and everybody there knows about our missing dog. The county sheriff actually drove out and posted color photo posters everywhere that I had emailed him! Can you imagine? Where we live, if you call the cops they barely even come because they are so busy! Over there, it is different.

We posted posters on dozens of poles and signs...anywhere we could find one. we did craigslist, 2 local newspapers, and 2-3 radio stations. Have I mentioned that I am in graphic design/marketing? heh heh.

Also, she is the only Dalmatian known to be in the entire county! So, if she stops being so anxious and stops hiding from everyone someone will catch her. I am going back over in a few weeks to look some more. We heard of a dog that was just found after 2 weeks in the local wildnerness a few weeks back and also one that survived SEVEN months locally before being caught and returned to his owners. So, we are hoping she will somehow come back to our family. We love and miss her very much. It is really affecting Ella. She is snuggling every night with her 3 little stuffed dalmatian's.

Other than that, we ahve onlhy had about 4-5 major tantrums in the past week so things are going a little smoother. Today she had NONE. She was a snuggling sweetie today.

I on th eother hand have SALMONELLA from tainted tomatoes. (I think) I jus reported my illness to the cdc. I got it in eastern Oregon from eating a hamburger with tomato at a dairy queen. (BTW- I have not had a hamburger in a long time, I NEVER eat them cause they gross me out, but i was extra hungry and there was nothing else!)

So, that is all I have to report!
