last day of school tomorrow

Ella has her last day of school tomorrow at her spec ed school. (until they have a short 5 week session starting in mid july). At the last minute today I realized that I had forgotten to get even thank you cards for her teachers. She has 4 teachers and a bus driver that I wanted to thank.

All I ended up getting them was a nice card and $10 worth of coffee bucks each for a local coffee house that has coffee places all over our area - they have pastries and smoothies too.

I know I cheaped out. Is it enough?

argh. Now I feel stupid giving it to them after I thought about it just being 10 bucks! Geeesh, that barely buys 2 gallons of gas these days!

I was in a hurry and just cheaped out.

I think that is just fine. I know they appreciate anything you can give them!

We still have 2.5 more weeks....it's hard to keep them interested in school when it is 102 degrees out!

well, nobody laughed at my card $10 gc so I guess it was ok. I do not think any of the other parents even gave a card so i guess i was ok.

Little Ell is a handful when she is not in school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe

we have done so many art projects, reading, hanging, swinging, watching "a baby story", and playing that I am worn out! It is only the first few days.

Sounds generous to me...

I think it was thoughtful. It gets expensive when they have so many teachers and therapists.
Enjoy the summer. This was my kid's first week off too. When does school start? I'm exhausted!
