Vision Therapy progress....

Well Sarah just completed her first 10 weeks of VT. Happy to report that over all in the areas that she needed help, she has jumped form the begining first grade level to the begining 2nd grade level. She is however, entering 3rd grade. I am thrilled that in just 10 weeks she has come so far. Right now we are taking a break from VT. We will still be doing the computer based VT at home. School is about to start and I want to see what issues arise that we can work on. She will probably do another 10w in Nov. My goal of improving her hand writing has not been met. However, she is way more aware of where her hand is on the paper. Her visual planing, spatial relations, tracking ect are much improved. Her doc was very happy w/ how much she has improved.

This is great! I'm glad that she is doing well and improving with VT! Hopefully she will just keep on getting better and better.

That sounds like fantastic progress!!! How great!!! I hope she continues to progress....I am constantly amazed at how fast they can pick things up when worked on!
