  • I bought a Magic Bullet and though it was just o.k. until....

I made margaritas tonight! WoW!!! That thing makes some really great margaritas.

If you have one, what else have you tried? I've been making smoothies for breakfast. I've not tried any of the recipes that came with it. Any favorites?

basically any type of smoothie. I buy the strawberry dacquiri mix and the girls use that and ice and a banana for a strawberry / banana smoothie. They have used up almost all my dacquiri mix!!! They love it! Splash of juice to make it more liquidy (like OJ or lemonade or apple juice).

I use it in the am's to either make pancakes (bisquick, egg, milk or water, splash of vanilla) or eggs (eggs and milk, salt pepper)......pour directly from bullet cup to pan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! such an easy and quick thing to use.

Loves, so glad you love it!

I bought a smoothie cookbook at the same time and we've tried strawberry, banana, blueberry, mango, etc. They always taste like something is missing. Like it could use just a little more taste of some kind. I've tried honey and concentrated apple juice and yogurt. I guess we just need to keep trying until we find the one. I'll try your mix and see if that is what we are missing.

Oh my, when you said Magic Bullet I had something

            else entirely in mind!

Although, I can see how margaritas might assist with the use of that *other* type of, errm, "appliance."

            Have fun!

LOL!!! You'd think they could have come up with a better name, uh?

These margaritas were the same consistency as ones that come out of a magarita machine. No chunks of ice. I'm in heaven now!!!

I was shocked at the boldness of her statement, then it occurred to me it must be a kitchen appliance.

What are these...can someone post a picture of it?

Would it replace my horrible blender AND ice shaver?

                      WOW...THANKS...question...

If you chop onions or peppers with this, do they come out all watery?? i just got a chopper thingy and it chops onions into watery puree.

                      Thanks!!

you can "pulse" it instead of twisting it and leaving it on "on" mode....you just push it down, let it up, push it down, let it up and it will just "chop" stuff instead of puree.......I LOVE MINE!
Other cool thing is whipping water and flour together to thicken up soups, gravies, etc!!
