Help, My allergies are killing me....

I took a Claritin earlier today. I am soooooo congested right now that I simply cannot stand it.

Can I take a decongestant too, or do I need wait 24 hours for the Claritin to wear off???

My Hubby takes Zyrtec-D & told me to take one, but not sure I can mix them. How about Mucinex or aleve cold & sinus? I need relief.

What do you take for allergies??

I just started taking Claratin (m)

I was getting allergy shots for a year and stopped because I didn't think they were helping. Well now, I am thinking maybe I was wrong, because my allergies kicked in horribly about 2 weeks ago. I suffered for 3 days terribly- I was so congested and sneezing, etc.

I decided to buy Claratin and it has really really helped, but I think it took about 3 days of taking it before I was feeling a lot better.

Listen - I gave up on the "directions" to Claritin (we buy the Costco brand of it which is called ALLER-CLEAR).....same ingredients as Claritin.

I give Grace 1 in the am and 1 in the pm **with 2 benedryls*** this is THE ONLY WAY to keep her allergies in ck right now.....during the rush of the spring season......I can back off later as pollen counts go down.

My *DH* takes **2** Aller-Clears in the am and **2** in the pm - which means he's taking WAY MORE than the dosage. BUt he has to in order to survive allergy season.
