    At my parents' house

Hanging in a garment bag in Mom's walk-in closet.

    Married in 1993.

We didn't have room for it for a long time, so there it lives

I got married in a pink Dior dress

which I have worn several times since. I'm planning to wear it again in June to someone else's wedding. (married in 99)

My first wedding, oh so long ago, was in a vintage beaded cocktail dress which is still hanging in the closet. It was already old. Not sure if it fits or not, but it's a cool dress. It's probably from the 50's, hand made in Hong Kong.

Preserved in a box that's in the spare closet. I didn't

take it to the cleaners until about 5 or more years after we were married. I have no idea if they were able to get the stains out. We were married in 1992.

Cleaned, boxed and preserved in the basement....

Just opened it recently to show ds...it is in great condition after 19 years! Thanks to my sister.

Cleaned boxed and in my attic. Married in 1993.
Confession, my mother took my dress to the dry cleaner while I was on my honeymoon.

cleaned, boxed and in the guest room closet. Looks like I'll never have a daughter so I could donate it or something.

I had it made into baptismal dresses for my twin dd's...so technically it's hanging in their closet!

Professionally boxed and cleaned and in

                    my basement somewhere.
Funny enough I have 3 sons, so what waste!
Though, I may hand it down for a baptismal dress, or something someday but who knows. Maybe I'll have a daughter in law who might want it or some parts of it for her day.

Hanging in my closet. I was married in 1995. Ugh. My sister has twin girls and we've toyed with the idea of having her dress and my dress made into communion gowns for the girls in a few years. One of the girls is my godchild. Otherwise I don't know what I'd do with it. It's one of those big, beaded, long-sleeved princess-y type gowns that I swore I'd never wear but then melted like butter when I put it on. I guess that's why I never had it stored. I wonder if those will ever come back into fashion. I don't see it happening!

I just found it in my shop, next to the rag bin...

So I think I win on the slacker scale. I don't know how it got out there, but I almost mistook it for a rag and swiped paint over it. Now it's in a pile while I decide if I want to salvage it. Can you tell it wasn't too special? I had to cancel the order on the dress I really wanted when we found out neither of our parents could contribute. I ended up w/ an off-the-rack dress from Laura Ashley (which promptly went on sale afterwards; I remember my DH lugging it back to get the discount!). It's kind of sad - we've been happily married for 12 yrs but I don't have many fond memories of my wedding. We're thinking of renewing our vows at some point - to finally do the ceremony we wanted originally . That will be fun!

Okay, I'm a cornball...but mine is hanging in my

closet and I wear it every anniversary. We got married in '97.

I put it on, we light our marraige candle, and we dance to our song.

We've had some less-than-romantic dances in that dress - but FUNNY dances. Plus, my DD loves when I put it on.

I never planned to have my daughter wear it or use it. I got it for $115.00 when the store was going out of business. Talk about bang for my buck.

I'm a yard-sale queen with a cleaning lady. You figure it out.
