How do I find resale value of furniture?

We are closing our counseling office as of the end of this month. The furniture is all 1-4 years old...including sofas, chairs, tables, desks, etc.

How the heck do I figure what it is all worth? We are selling some of it to employees, some of it at yard sales, and some of it keeping. I know what a yard saler will pay isn't much.

But I do I decide on a price tag?? Is there some sort of formula?

Like we paid around $500 I think for the couches (cheap couches) and maybe $400 for the desks. Everything is in very good shape, thank goodness.

Any sources I can use???

I usually check ebay or craigslist to see what similar items are selling for. Depends also if you want a decent price for it or if you are just looking to offload it. Those are probably good places to start though.

Thanks! We have so much stuff...don't have craigslist but for prices maybe i can put in a dif zip code just to see...I doubt many ppl ebay couches and desks, but maybe? I don't know.
