i have the "honor" of hosting bunco this month and it is customary for the hostess in our group of gals to have a different theme from the others. they have gotten pretty outrageous....but my mind is blank...so shoot off ideas and ways to incorprate on invites and the bunco nite itself. thanks !!!!

Can you give us some ideas (m)

of what has been done in the past? I am not sure what you are looking for as far as themes, so this would be helpful.

Wine and Cheese.....Coffee where you have all sorts of different coffees (peppermint, bold, have Kaluah to mix in for those who wish to imbibe)....need to know how elaborate they get to know if these aren't "wild" enough, but you can do a lot with them.

How about a pajama party (m)

Everyone could come dressed in their pajamas and you could serve brunch-type foods.

Then there's your more normal themes, like Mexican Fiesta, Luau, etc.

Or you could do something with a Harvest theme, since it's November. Or you could do a canned-good drive for the places that collect food for people that need it for Thanksgiving.

I was thinking along the lines of something with Thanksgiving, but lighten it up with things like: Thank goodness for chocolate! Thank goodness for Wine! Etc.

I was at a 40th birthday and the theme was "Around the USA" and there was food from all of the different regions: crabcakes, enchiladas, tamales, cheese curds LOL, apple pie, etc.

          Have fun! I love Bunco
