The show was never that great to begin with. I had to ignore Jaclyn Smith monotoning her way through her hosting duties. But last night all the hair looked awful and they eliminated the best contestant over one who had consistently butchered every head she had worked on. That's B.S. Even the contestant who got to stay couldn't believe it and then the judges seemed to be scrambling to justify the decision. Weird.

I watched last night as well. Coming off of Project Runway where I loved every outfit except for the losing one, I hated all the haircuts! I want to cut them a little slack because 2 hours is not a lot of time to do 3 heads of hair. But I'm not sure the results would have been any better if they had more time. Kind of disappointing. They kept the brunette in for the excitement - the show would get boring fast with her gone. -
I soooo wanted LeaAnne to win that challenge. I adored her dress and she got the ultimate Heidi compliment when Heidi said she would wear it. I did not like the winning dress and Tim Gunn agrees with me in his blog. LOL Sarah Bernhardt didn't like it either. I guess Michael and Nina were high that day. :-P I didn't like the other outfit in the top three either. Why wasn't the dress with the ruffled train out there? That dress rocked.Comment

i don't watch any of the shows.
BUT, i saw an add for shear genuis where i think they were cutting hair for maybe cancer patients and some blonde chicky was saying she couldn't handle it but had to finish...what happened there?Comment

Yeah That was another disappointing episode where pretty much every haircut sucked. The hair models all suffered from alopecia and were completely bald. This was their chance to get a really nice human hair wig. The contestant who was crying in the ad wound up winning the challenge. The model wanted a haircut just like the contestant's short blond bob but the hair on the wig was too bulky to pull it off. She still wound up with a really cute spiky bob though and the model was happy with it. I thought all the rest of the wigs looked like crap and the the models looked better with the cheaper wigs they had started out with. I felt bad for the models.Comment

Disappointed too...
I just watched my DVRd episode from last nite and I was very surprised at the outcome. I think that they are not supposed to factor in performances at other challenges, even tho Nekysa has been consistently bad throughout, I think they have to look only at what she did in the challenge. I thought everyone's hair looked pretty bad too.
As far as the alopecia challenge from last week, didn't the red head young girl that Paolo did win over the spiky blond that Nicole did?
I have to say I don't really care for any of the female stylists. I much prefer ***************y Charlie, fabulous Daniel and goofy Paolo.Comment
