Remeber my roofing problems

Where in 05 had it replaced and in 07 I think found out a worker had put his foot through a couoke pcs. of plywood. Company said it is not their fault or problem because the guy was ripping them off and did m roof without them knowing. well this guy was in prision in Virgina, Florida and now texas for ripping this company off in all 3 states. And this guy has topay the company back. Well if he has to pay this company back why does the company not have to fix my bad roof? I was suppose to get up to 5 pcs of plywood replaced and they did not do one. We had filed complaits on this guy and the company with the state but I thought it was all closed so I dont understand why this guy from the sate calls us to open a closed case. Now dh is unning a criminal history and is calling the company again than lawyer if they still refuse. I say let dead dogs lie. It is usless.

I don't know all the facts, and it sounds like he exceeded the scope of his authority, but if they were compensated on account of their supposed losses in servicing your roof, you should be able to get compensation from them or at least have them fix your roof. What a scam on their part.

What happen was

I call this well known company. He came out said he was part owner and he was the one that told me how much. A week later he and 7 workers came out and done it. 2 yrs later someone noticed a dip in my roof. Turns out there are 3 and when someone went in attic to check it out they found what looks like holes where someones foot went though. This was a yr ago last June, We called company they said they are not fixing it the man dont work there bla bla. We ended up filing a complaint with the state where they make them fix it. The state said nothing we can do. I really sont know much and what I did know why nt I cant remember. But after this guy calls from the state today to touch bases why I dont know when nothing can be done we find out the rip off guy is paying the company back. Thats just a short version,

I would file a complaint with the BBB on the company. Regardless if this guy worked for them or not, he represented them and they can be held at stake.

This happened to us with a carpet cleaning company. We had a company clean it, turns out the guy who cleaned it was acutally using that companies name without their knowledge at the time. We couldn't get ahold of him, filed the claim and the real owner of the company called us back. Luckily we were able to get out money back, and the real company filed suit against the guy who was using them.

Its worth a shot to file with BBB!

You are right, it will give nothing back to you because in agreement the companies always add some conditions for their security related to this type of issues. We should make some research when going to hire a company for our roof services, because roof is the main part of our house. If it remains good then all our house will be in good condition. I always hire Sydney Roofers for my roof related problems, because I know that they work nicely and accurately, and they take responsibility if I complaint any issue and resolve it free of cost.
