  • Another evite/paper invite ?

So it seems to be a split between evites vs. paper invites. I can see the pros and cons of both.

Would it be worse to send both kinds of invites out? I can put them in the regular mail and do the evite. Or is that really strange.

I do think that would be strange. I do love the paper invites because there's nothing like getting a invitation in the mail

I didn't reply before on the other thread but...

I have to say I LIVE on the computer... all day for work, and often in the evenings too. So, by all rights, I should prefer evites, I should love to get them, everything in one place... but often I can't find them... the email came from an address that isn't intuitive (like, not your last name, not your first name) so I have the worst time finding it again to check day, time, address, or even rsvp if I didn't initially.

Paper invitations go next to the phone in the kitchen, they are there until the party happens (and, sadly, often long after!). I can grab it on my way out the door to check the address, and it is there for me to see to remember to rsvp. Also, my kids LOVE getting mail. So it is fun for them to open.

I vote paper. You can always send an email (not evite) reminder.

Send in the mail and then the parent can place it on the fridge as a reminder. I have to say while I am on the computer all day long. I have four email accounts not including my two kids accounts that I monitor so I could easily miss an evite. If you do the mail I do not think you have to do an evite as everyone checks their snail mail box. Plus kids like to give and receive snail mail, at least mine do!

Not sure why but i assumed it was a kids' party hence my reply. My answer doesn't change though.
