  • product review - does anyone have Cuisinart MultiClad Pro cookware?

the de-cluttering with my parents has really got me in a manic state to clean my own house. I have a horrible mish-mash of cookware with 5 pieces I use regularly - 2 are very old, super cheap, non-stick pans that are probably cooking cancerous toxins into my food every time I use them - and a good 10 other pieces I never use!

I was going to buy several new pieces and the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro got good reviews for the price.

There is no set that meets my needs, but I can get the 5 pieces I always use for the price of a set with a few pieces I'd never use... Like I'd never use the mini sauce pan or the skillet, but can get 2 non-stick skillets from their Green Gourmet line instead.

I was going to order thru Amazon, but wondering if anyone had opinions before I buy.

edit: oh, the 2 sauce pans I use daily are old Calphalon (the dark metal color stuff, anodized aluminum??) and are SOOO heavy. We can't stand them - they have dented sinks and chipped counter tops! If anyone knows if the Cuisinart stuff is just as heavy, then I'll probably end up getting something like the good 'ol FarberWare for half the price!!!

    Looks good to me.
I have Anolon. Similar I think.
I am looking for a new 5-6 quart pot.
These Cuisinart look well made and a reasonable price.
