Yeah I was given 4 pints of blood and was in the hospital for 14 days!!! and really the bleeding I do have has become a normal life style anymore. As far as emotions i feel like a nut case alot of the time. and the metformin its weird I hear alot of people talk they take it regularly and I didn't understand why he didn't keep me on it but that was in between switching doctors as well but I have asked since then and he said I just need to lose the weight which always gets to me cause everytime i go I know what its gonna be and just makes it worse. The shot I take is one of the depo provera but its a different one the way he explained it to me it was a new one they came out with, it has less of the effect to gain weight like the other ones. See thats why I did the adkins cause all the stuff I read says that carbs are a big help when you cut them out for people with PCOS. I am hoping that I can lose the weight and keep it off this time and he will start me on them again!!! But I like this site it really does help I learn things and meet new people. Thats really good that they have meds that keep you regular. But on those days for the periods is that when you hurt and things. as far as the endometriosis? I'm sure thats hard on you mentally and physically( sorry don't mean to be depressing)

How long would it take to get in to see the other doctor you talked about? I know you said you have to get approved right? I'm not familiar with the way it works through the Native American end of things. Everyone talks about cutting the carbs helping PCOS so hopefully this will work for you! I'll say a prayer for you! Maybe you should ask if there is something different besides that shot he could give you. I don't know if you have or not but you can ask questions to the moderators on the inciid boards (they are dr.'s). There is another board specifically for infertility related to PCOS. I have asked NUMEROUS questions and they always answer quickly. You may have to give them more specifics on the situation to get a better answer. If you don't want anything that specific posted you can always send them the details in a private message.

As far as the hurting, I think normally people hurt during their period that have endometriosis. I hurt everday for a long time. Now I do have random days when I feel better than others. There is always some pain there. But when my period comes it is excruciating. And it gets worse every month. Not trying to spin a sad story here but the pain is unbearable without medication. Mentally I think my husband has it worse during that time!!!LOL

Well I could go to another Indian facility pretty quickly its just a matter of getting all of my paperwork together but to get to see an outside facility would be a little harder unless I get insurance which I am working on but my husband got laid off a few months back and so He just got another job so we are working on that! And to go outside I would have to have insurance or get approval!! I have asked several times for something different as far as meds I have asked for so long all I get is to lose the weight which is why I am getting my paper work together to talk to another doctor cause I really can't get any help here and I would like to get another opinion or at least a little more help in the matter!!! Every thing I have learned I searched myself really!!~I will have to try one of the other boards as well I thought about it but was really new to this whole thing so hadn't yet!!

I am sorry you have to hurt so much I will also say a prayer for you as well!!! And never apologize I like hearing others stories as well I felt like I was doing all the talking made me feel bad!! and I know how the husband thing mine has suffered alot I am so crazy some times I go from happy to sad then mad in zero point five I feel so nuts sometimes and I used to think I was till I done some research on this stuff its a wonder we don't lose our minds lol!!

Good luck with the insurance. As much as I have to go to the dr., we would be in trouble without my husband's insurance. That's great news he found another job. Is there an Indian facility that has someone that deals with infertility? Or a different Indian facility with an ob/gyn you haven't seen yet? Even if there's not I would think another opinion would help you. I know you're sick of hearing its the weight, its the weight.

Never feel bad about talking. Everyone hear is going through their own version of something. I'm kinda bonkers too. My hormones are definitely off kilter this morning. I thought of some song I hadn't thought of in years and the tears started rolling. Talk about nuts! I leave for the dr. in an hour. Wish me luck!

Good luck at the doctor!! Hope you get some good news! I know how the crying thing is I love music and I always seem to find a song that just breaks my heart lol!! The guy I see now at the hospital is supposed to be a specialist but not really one dealing in infertility I am gonna try to get in to see the other one soon I need to call and find out if they have a specialist up at the other one or not both facilities are at least an hour away so its a drive lol!! Yeah I mean deep down I know the weight contributes most of it , it is just depressing to hear the same thing and feel like I am being scolded they act like I don't try and I do each time i will have lost about 20 lbs or so but they just tell me I need to lose more and I do gain it back in little bits at a time and I do try but it does get hard everything is so exspensive anymore just to eat right and I am a veggie lover but still even thats high but usually starting in spring I grow my own garden so that helps summer I usually lose alot of weight but for some reason winter kicks my butt lol!!I don't know about others but I gain weight real fast and I really don't change that much as far as eating habbits but oh well!! Again tho all prayers going out to you for your doctor visit I really hope they help you!!Is this visit just a check up or are they doing something specific today?

Ha it wasn't even really a sad song!I think you would have more confidence in what's going on if you saw another dr. Its sounds like you need to find a dr. that will give you encouragement when you lose some--even if you need to lose more. We have a garden in the summer, too. And hubbie and I both lose weight in the summer. We are a lot more active in the summer--this summer I want to learn how to slalom--I gain the weight steady except when I'm taking hormones then it packs on fast. Lupron made me quite puffy. I had a follicular ultrasound. For anyone who has read this dr. report elsewhere-sorry! I'll just email it to you!
