  • Stuck on some Wacky Wordies - help!

    We just tackled an entire sheet of Wacky Wordies and are stuck on four of them - can anyone help?

    Here are two examples:

    wire
    just = "just under the wire"


    sight love
    sight
    sight = "love at first sight"

    Here are the six we're stuck on:

    ho
    ho
    +ho


    TILL IME


    hoRN


    cy cy


    T
    T
    +T
    3T


    M O N I T
    O S E (these letters are listed all topsy-turvy)

          It definitely works out a certain section of the brain. Which one, I have no idea! There were about 30 of them and most of them came pretty easily. It seemed like the best time to solve them was at first glance - the longer I stared and thought the less likely I was to solve them. It was a fun after-supper activity and my 5 y/o had fun keeping track of "the ones Mom can't get!"
