Stuck on some Wacky Wordies - help!

We just tackled an entire sheet of Wacky Wordies and are stuck on four of them - can anyone help?

I do wish I knew what the educational objective was for this exercise.

I do wish I knew what the educational objective was for this exercise.

It definitely works out a certain section of the brain. Which one, I have no idea! There were about 30 of them and most of them came pretty easily. It seemed like the best time to solve them was at first glance - the longer I stared and thought the less likely I was to solve them. It was a fun after-supper activity and my 5 y/o had fun keeping track of "the ones Mom can't get!"
