Am I imagining it, or do these pants have two sets of belt loops -- one higher, and one down low to hold the belt in that low-slung "Hey, I've looped my belt outside my pants" kind of way.
Plus - low-slung belt over pleated pants? Even I, khaki-afficionado that I am, don't think that's a good way to combine trends...
if you've worn a fad once, don't wear it a 2nd time when it come backs. I'll just go shop at Coldwater Creek or JJill or Ann Taylor or Ann Taylor Loft or Talbots, etc etc etc.
Now that we've gone through the 60's 70's & now 80's fashions all over again, will we really go through the grunge of the 90's? I hope not! And don't designers have more to do than copy past decades? Is there nothing new that is also wearable?????
I already bought two items with puffy sleeves! Here is my new suit I'm in love with!
The back has cool buttons.
I'm so thrilled with it. The crop pants look good with heels or boots. I suggest everyone in need of adding a little style to their wardrobe hit a White House | Black Market. One just opened here, and I'm in love. :-)
I also love all of the pictures. The shirt and the suits especially. The shirt on Katie Holmes doesn't fit her right.
But I've always been a fan of puffy sleeve shirts in a variety of styles. I never knew they were out of style. I probably have six in my closet that I've been wearing for the last five years. I was so out of it! Glad to know I'm back in style. LOL.
but can we agree that unless you are on your way to dance the Nutcracker, you should forgo the leg warmers? (sshhh I'm making some for dd... but for ballet class!)
